GA4 or realtime data is missing

Historical GA4 reporting and realtime observations have different collection windows. An empty card in one mode does not prove that every GA4 metric is unavailable.

Work through these checks

  1. Select the intended site and an applicable reporting period.
  2. Confirm the connected GA4 property belongs to that website.
  3. Verify that the Google identity still has reporting access.
  4. Check the site's Active users source and whether it allows GA4 or Presence.
  5. Check that the website's GA4 or Presence collection is actually installed and active.
  6. Review the source timestamp and allow for reporting delay.

A historical period may intentionally hide the current live card. A total active-user observation may exist without country/device details, and a cached page report may be older than the revenue update.

Compare like measurements

GA4 page views and ad-provider page views are separate measurements. Review property/domain coverage, dates and source definitions before treating a large difference as a calculation defect.

Reconnect only when authorization needs it. Brightstone cannot repair a missing website tracking installation or invent historical realtime records by reloading a page. If support is needed, provide the period, property/site context and missing metric without Google tokens, visitor-level records or private raw responses.
