Availability: Controlled pilot
AI Connections is a controlled pilot. A working MCP endpoint does not imply that every customer is enabled or that a public ChatGPT plugin is published.
Connection checks
- Open Account → AI Connections and check your workspace's availability.
- Copy
https://mcp.brightstone.app/mcpexactly. - Confirm that the assistant supports remote MCP with Brightstone's secure authorization flow.
- Start the connection in that assistant and follow its Brightstone sign-in link.
- Select one authorized workspace, explicitly choose sites, review the requested data and choose Allow access.
Do not replace the standard flow by copying permanent secrets into a chat. Client/account/plan support varies, and a missing custom-connection control is not something Brightstone can enable inside another service.
Access or reporting failures
A removed membership, changed role, removed site assignment, expired/revoked authorization or missing optional scope can stop a request. Disconnect and reauthorize deliberately when needed; this cannot broaden your current role permissions.
If authentication works but a metric is missing, check provider availability and stored reporting. The assistant cannot retrieve unsupported article revenue or missing social insights. Give support the safe error and client name, never a bearer token, authorization code or private assistant conversation.
If these steps do not resolve your question, contact Brightstone support. Never include passwords, tokens or recovery codes.
