On this page
A page view is not an ad impression, a session or a unique person. Brightstone keeps source-specific reporting so those measurements are not silently combined into a single interchangeable count.
Page views and sessions
GA4 page views describe the available GA4 reporting. Monetization page views describe the ad provider's own reporting coverage. The providers can use different collection rules, time windows, domains and filters. Their values can differ substantially without either being directly convertible into the other.
Sessions describe a different activity grouping and should not be added to page views or treated as unique users. Realtime page views and active users also use different windows from historical daily reports.
Engagement and unsupported values
Use an engagement metric only where the actual report supplies it. A missing engagement rate, duration, user total or dimension is not a confirmed zero and should not be calculated from unrelated counts.
Make a useful comparison
Select the same website, dates and source on both sides. Verify that the GA4 property covers the same domain as the revenue integration. Read the current source timestamp and allow for delayed updates. When investigating stable traffic and falling revenue, retrieve the revenue-provider metrics separately; a difference alone does not establish a causal explanation.
