Availability: Controlled pilot
AI Connections is currently available to enabled pilot workspaces. The MCP endpoint has been tested for that pilot; this does not mean every customer is enabled or that the public Brightstone ChatGPT plugin is published.
Your assistant must support custom remote MCP connections and the required secure sign-in flow. Client, account and plan availability vary. Do not assume a control exists in every ChatGPT account.
Authorize a connection
- Open Account and select Manage AI connections.
- Copy the MCP server URL:
https://mcp.brightstone.app/mcp. - Add that URL in your compatible assistant's custom MCP connection setup.
- Follow its sign-in link to Brightstone.
- On Connect your analytics, check the application name and signed-in account.
- Choose one workspace and explicitly select the websites to share.
- Review Can view, then choose Allow access and return to the assistant.
Only continue if you initiated the connection in an app you trust. Application names are supplied by clients and are not, by themselves, proof of who operates them.
What the assistant can do
Current tools retrieve supported revenue, traffic, targets and reporting information. Optional permissions provide additional existing reporting where your role allows it. The tools cannot change settings, edit targets, publish posts or make purchases.
Current site permissions still apply. A connection does not automatically include websites added after consent.
Disconnect
Return to Account → AI Connections and choose Disconnect for the assistant. Future retrieval and refresh access stop. This does not erase results already received by the assistant or cancel either service's subscription.
Review the Privacy Policy before sharing data. The external assistant's own terms and data controls apply to what it receives.
If these steps do not resolve your question, contact Brightstone support. Never include passwords, tokens or recovery codes.
