Start with the workspace, website and reporting period. Those choices determine what the dashboard is showing; a small change in selection can explain a large difference in totals.
Set the context
- Check the workspace name.
- Choose All sites or a permitted individual website.
- Choose a period such as Today, Yesterday, This month or another available range.
- Read the revenue total together with its comparison label and reporting freshness.
A comparison may cover a matching point in an earlier period rather than a complete previous month. Today's reporting is still in progress and may not be comparable to a finalized full day.
Combined revenue and provider performance
Headline revenue combines the stored earnings available for the selected scope. The performance-provider selector changes provider-specific cards and series, such as Ad RPM, clicks or visibility. It does not redefine the combined headline total or monthly target.
Traffic measurements are not interchangeable across providers. GA4 views belong to analytics; an advertising network's page views belong to that provider's performance reporting.
Targets and audience
A monthly target shows the goal that applies to the selected scope. Projections are estimates, can change with reporting updates and do not guarantee month-end earnings.
The live audience card concerns current observations. It is not a historical daily-user total, and historical period selections can hide the current live card.
Missing values
A dash or unavailable state can mean a provider does not supply the metric, no usable denominator exists, or reporting has not arrived. Check provider status before interpreting a gap as zero earnings.
Different dashboard styles change presentation, not the underlying calculation definitions.
Example from the public demo
This capture uses the real public demo with illustrative figures and reserved sample domains. Your account, selected style and permissions can show different controls. It is an orientation example, not customer data.
