Telegram is a personal delivery connection for your Brightstone user in the selected workspace. It is separate from the workspace-managed Viber Channel.
Authorize the destination
- Open Reports and find Telegram under the delivery connections.
- Choose Connect Telegram.
- When Telegram opens, tap Start to complete the secure connection.
- Return to Brightstone and wait for the connection status to become Connected.
- Use Send test if you want to verify that the intended private chat receives a report.
- Select Telegram in Choose destinations and save your report settings.
Connecting the chat alone does not enable every schedule. If the bot is unavailable, the button cannot complete setup until the service is configured.
Fix a pending connection
Ensure that you opened the link for the intended Brightstone account/workspace and actually pressed Start. Use a fresh connection flow if the original authorization expired. Avoid sharing that authorization link publicly.
If delivery stops, check whether the bot is blocked and review the report's delivery history. Disconnect revokes this destination but does not delete messages Telegram already received. Never paste bot tokens or chat credentials into a support message.
If these steps do not resolve your question, contact Brightstone support. Never include passwords, tokens or recovery codes.
