Change or remove a member’s access
Review roles and selected sites without broadening permissions accidentally.

Use Team in the correct workspace. A role defines what someone may do; the site assignment defines where those permissions apply. Both matter.
Update permissions
- Find the member in Team members.
- Select Manage permissions.
- Review Role and Access.
- Choose All sites or Specific sites, selecting only the intended websites.
- Select Save changes and check the resulting role/access summary.
An all-site admin and a site-restricted admin do not have identical workspace-management rights. Viewer access does not allow changing restricted workspace settings. Personal reporting or notification preferences do not make someone a workspace administrator.
Remove a member
Choose Remove for the intended person and review the confirmation. The member loses workspace and site access; this is different from canceling an invitation that has not yet been accepted.
Do not remove or change another member merely to test a permission problem on real data. Use a synthetic account instead. Existing external AI connections also remain subject to current membership and site permissions, so reduced access must not be bypassed through an older connection.
Owner transfer is not a normal role choice on this screen. Ask support about an ownership requirement rather than assuming an Admin invitation changes the workspace owner.
