Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
Cancel future renewals whenever you need to.
How to cancel
- Sign in to Brightstone and open Billing in your workspace.
- Open the Paddle subscription management link and choose the cancellation option.
- Complete the confirmation and check the effective cancellation date.
You need the workspace's billing permissions. You can also use the subscription management link in your Paddle receipt or contact [email protected] for help. A cancellation is complete once confirmed; simply closing the app does not cancel a subscription.
During a trial
Starter offers a 14-day trial. When you start a trial without a payment method, no automatic charge occurs. The trial ends on the date shown in Billing; choose a subscription to continue afterwards. Existing sites, settings and data are retained when trial access ends.
If a payment method is required at signup, Paddle shows the trial end and first charge date before you confirm. Cancel before that date to avoid the first subscription charge. A trial offered in Paddle checkout follows the dates shown there. Growth and Scale begin billing at checkout. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.
After cancellation
To stop an external AI assistant from retrieving reports, open Account → AI Connections and select Disconnect. This revokes future connection access, including refresh access. It does not cancel your Brightstone or third-party AI subscription, delete your reporting history, or remove data already received by the assistant. Subscription cancellation and data deletion are separate actions.
Your subscription does not renew again after cancellation takes effect. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund or delete your workspace.
For refund requests, see our 14-day refund request policy. For deletion requests and data handling, see our Privacy Policy.
